The 1910 Federal Census gives some descriptions of the enumeration districts for the City of Mankato, Blue Earth County. Additional descriptions of the wards have been obtained from R. L. Polk & Co's Mankato City Directory - 1908-1909, and are shown in italics.

Enumeration District	Ward	Description
15	1	Bounded on north by corporate limits; east by corporate limits, C St P M & O R R and center line of Second St.; south by Fountain St. and ward boundary; and west by corporate limits. Ward 1 consists of all of that part of the city lying north of Vine and Rhine streets.
16	1	Bounded on north and east by the corporate limits; south by ward boundary; and west by center line of Second St. to Fountain St., north by Fountain and west by C St P M & O R R to the corporate limits. Ward 1 consists of all of that part of the city lying north of Vine and Rhine streets.
17	2	All west of the center line of Broad street. Ward 2 is bounded on the north by Vine and Rhine streets, and on the south by Plum and Marsh streets.
18	2	All east of the center line of Broad street. Ward 2 is bounded on the north by Vine and Rhine streets, and on the south by Plum and Marsh streets.
19	3	Ward 3 is bounded on the north by Plum and Marsh streets, and on the south by Hickory, Pearl, Hannah and Main streets.
20	4	Bounded on north by ward boundary; east by corporate limits; south by Creek and Cherry street, extended to Minnesota river; and west by said river and corporate limits. Ward 4 is bounded on the north by Hickory, Pearl, Hannah and Main streets, and on the south by D street, C M & St P Ry, Liberty and Warren streets and Bunker Hill road.
21	4	Bounded on north by creek and Cherry Street, extended to Minnesota river; east by corporate limits; south by corporate limits, and ward boundary; and west by ward boundary and Minnesota river. Ward 4 is bounded on the north by Hickory, Pearl, Hannah and Main streets, and on the south by D street, C M & St P Ry, Liberty and Warren streets and Bunker Hill road.
22	5	All west of the west line of sections 18 and 19, Twp. 108, R.26 W. of the 5th principal meridian. Ward 5 is bounded on the north by the C M & St P Ry track, Liberty and Warren streets, and on the west by a line produced southerly from D street.
23	5	All east of the west line of sections 18 and 19, in Twp. 108.R.25 W. of the 5th principal meridian. Ward 5 is bounded on the north by the C M & St P Ry track, Liberty and Warren streets, and on the west by a line produced southerly from D street.
24	6	Ward 6 is comprised of all of that part of the city lying west of the 5th Ward.
