MAY SEARCH BUGGIES.

Ruling for Game Wardens Covering Suspicious Cases.

Deputy game wardens have the right to search buggies driven by persons suspected of killing game illegally. This is the view of Attorney General Douglas, who was consulted this morning by telephone from Cambridge, Minn. Two strangers drove into town last evening with guns in their buggy. They had evidently been hunting chickens, and the warden wanted to look into the buggy. They ordered him away and made such a demonstration that he decided to ascertain how much law he had on his side before making the search.
