New Dining Hall And Restaurant.

Sweet, neat and inviting is the impression which captivates the visitor upon his first entrance to the Merchants dining room and restaurant, conducted by Mr. M. E. Barrett, at No. 80 Robert street. There is an air about the bright, well-set tables and cheerful surroundings suggestive of appetizing viands prepared in a manner to suit the most captious and cultivated visitor. Over a dozen tables are noticed, each one of which is furnished in the most decorous and substantial manner. The culinary department is equipped with every convenience for the preparation of food, and Mr. Barrett makes it a cardinal feature of his business to never allow any one to depart unsatisfied. The prices, too, are exceedingly reasonable. Regular boarders are taken at the low sum of $3.50 per week, and twenty-one commutation tickets are sold for $3.75; while five meal commutation tickets are sold for $1.00. Those in quest of a quiet, substantial boarding place should give Mr. Barrett a trial.
