Decoration Day.


The Programme in Full Which is to be Carried Out in Minneapolis Next Tuesday.


On Thursday evening a general meeting was held and a programme for the Decoration day observances was drafted, and is as follows:

At 9 o'clock a. m., members of the Grand Army of the Republic, veteran soldiers and firing squads will proceed from Grand Army post, No. 4 headquarters, to Maple hill and Catholic cemeteries, on the East side, when prayer will be offered by Rev. Forbes, and an oration delivered by N. B. Shutler. The decoration of graves will constitute the exercises. Details will also proceed at the same time to Lakewood and the Catholic cemeteries on the West side, and decorate the graves of comrades buried therein. At 4:15 p. m. members of the G. A. R. Post, No. 4, military companies, civil societies, and others, will assemble at headquarters of the post to participate in the general ceremonies of the day. At 1:30 promptly, the column of march will form at Second street, with the right resting on Nicollet avenue, in the following

Brooks' Brigade Band.
Minneapolis Light Infantry - Capt. J. P. Rea, Commanding.
Zouve Corps - Capt. A. A. Ames, Commanding.

Members of George N. Morgan Post and Veteran Soldiers - Capt. C. O. Clawson, Commanding.
Decoration Committee of Young Ladies in Carriages.
Orator and Chaplain.
Members of the City Government.
Citizens in Carriages.
Marshalls - Capt. D. M. Gilmore, R. L. Woodworth and Capt. Mike Hoy.

LINE OF MARCH.
Out Nicollet avenue to Seventh street, down Seventh street to Fifteenth avenue south, out Fifteenth and Bloomington avenues to Lake street, down Lake street to Layman's cemetery.

SERVICES AT GROUNDS.

Reading of general order No. 3 and introductory remarks by Post Commander D. M. Gilmore.
Prayer by Rev. C. A. Van Anda.
Address by Mayor A. A. Ames.
Recitation by Miss Clara Thompson.
Music.
Oration by John G. Wooley, Esq.
Music - Dirge.
Procession of decoration committee of young ladies and G. A. R. Post to cemetery, and general decoration of graves.
Closing ceremony at G. A. R. burial lot, where wreaths of flowers will be placed in memory of soldiers buried elsewhere, and farewell volleys by the Minneapolis Light Infantry and Zouave corps.
