The St. Paul Daily Globe, December 25, 1891
A Special Northwest Magazine.
The Northwestern magazine is out with a special edition devoted entirely to a description of St. Paul and its varied advantages. The edition is very appropriately termed the semi-centennial number, and to say that it is a credible and handsome publication is putting it mildly indeed. A brief but well-written history of the city is followed by a description of the wholesaling, manufacturing and other interests of St. Paul, the whole being illustrated with fine pictures of the many handsome business blocks and beautiful residences for which St. Paul is justly famed. The wide circulation which is to be given this number cannot fail to prove a source of great good to St. Paul.
