A Sad Accident.

About 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, A. G. Iverson, a carpenter employed on the American Express company building on Rosabel street, fell from a rafter a distance of twenty-five feet, and sustained serious internal injuries. The accident was due to the breakage of a bolt, which it is said, had been pronounced insecure, and the result was that the frame work on which the unfortunate man was employed, went to pieces and he was precipitated to the ground. He was attended by Dr. Murphy, who pronounced the injuries very serious. The patrol wagon was called and he was removed to his residence on Sherbourne avenue. The case is a very sad one, as Iverson has been sick all of last winter, and he recovered sufficiently to go to work only about three weeks ago, while a large family are depending upon him for support.
