The Air Ship seen by Rothsayites.

About 9 o'clock Wednesday night the notorious airship or some other mysterious object was sighted by one of our citizens, about 15 points above the horizon and a trifle north by northwest of town. Several others, among whom were some of our [prominent] business men, were called to witness the strange sight, and their account of their observations can be relied on as accurate. When first seen it resembled a strong white electric light, but changing later to red and green. As it moved along, a succession of dips were easily [noticeable]. The sky was obscured by clouds, and besides the rapidity of its movements made it unmistakable for a star; and the fact that it was proceeding against a strong wind precludes the possibility of its being a toy balloon. Some of the observers ascended the windmill tower and watched the aerial sojourner pass out of sight in the direction of Fargo. What ever it may be, those who witnessed its passage, are satisfied that it is something unusual and, so far, unexplainable.
