Eggs and Butter Rise One Cent With Cold.


Cold which sent the thermometer to 13 below at 5 a.m. today, drove egg prices up a cent, the wholesale price going from 35 to 36 cents. Butter also advanced a cent today, to 37 for top creamery grades. Tonight is expected to be cold again, according to the forecast, with tomorrow slightly warmer. A temperature around 5 below is expected tomorrow. It was 24 degrees below zero in Duluth today.

Ely was the coldest spot in northern Minnesota today, the mercury sinking to 30 degrees below zero. Eveleth was second with 28 below.
