The Rock County Herald, September 6, 1896, p. 5
The Omaha company has established a new station in Pipestone county and at present the place is known has Gray's siding. It is located between Pipestone and Woodstock, about six miles from the former place. Material is now being hauled for 600 feet of sidetrack and as soon as this is in, a large grain warehouse will be erected and a buyer stationed there. In all probability no depot will be erected by the company this fall but if the new station has business enough to warrant it a depot building will be erected next fall.
