Ole Dale, a pioneer, was born October, 1814, came to America in 1854, farmed on Trempealeau county, Wisconsin, until 1867, lived six years in Pope county, this state, and in the spring of 1873 came to Renville county, where he homesteaded eighty acres in section 23, Camp township, and here remained until his death, May 21, 1894. His wife, Betsy Berge was born Feb. 16, 1817, and died June 13, 1905.
