TRAGIC DEATH

Of Annie Olson by Falling Through a Skylight.

Annie Olson, a young domestic in the employ of the Commercial Hotel, corner of Third and Sibley streets, met a tragic death yesterday forenoon by falling through the skylight to the floor below. She was engaged in hanging clothes on the roof and accidently stepped into the open skylight. She struck on her head and shoulders and was picked up in an unconscious condition and taken to the city hospital, where she died at 11 o'clock. She was about twenty years of age, and had recently reached America from Sweden. Her relatives here will take charge of the burial.

INTERNALLY DAMAGED.

Post-Mortem on Miss Olson, Accidentally Killed.

The autopsy in the case of Annie Olson, who was accidentally killed Friday by falling through a skylight on the roof of the Commercial hotel, revealed that the cause of death was internal hemorrhage. Dr. Rothrock made the post mortem examination. The doctor noted that there were no external bruises, which would naturally be expected as the result of a fall of thirty feet or more, but he found nearly all the internal organs suffering from hemorrhage. The unfortunate girl also sustained concussion of the brain and never recovered consciousness from the time her head struck the floor. The body was removed to Thaun & Jacobsen's undertaking establishment.

Miss Olson came to this country scarcely a month ago from Norway. She proceeded directly to St. Paul, as her sister lives here. A week ago the sister called upon Annie. In the event that she has not yet learned of Annie's death, the undertakers will keep the remains a reasonable time, until they hear from her.
