DEAD NEAR A BAGNIO.

Another Tragic Mystery in St. Paul - Death Fair or Fowl.

Another fatality, possibly a murder, is added to the long list of recent St. Paul tragedies. Shortly after 1 o'clock this morning the police were notified that a man was lying dead at the foot of the steps leading up to 79 Eagle st. where stands a house of questionable reputation, conducted by Alice Courtenay, alias Williams. The man lay on his back with his feet on the stairway. Blood was issuing from his nose. A man named Ranzinger, who lives next door, states that he heard the man fall while attempting to ascend the stairs.

Coroner Quinn was notified, and after making a hurried investigation ordered the body to be removed to the morgue, where it now awaits identification. The man was about 35 years old, of medium height, had a heavy mustache and was plainly dressed.
