LOCAL AND PERSONAL
A Hector young man had an experience recently that may, or may not, have strengthened his belief in dreams. His best girl lost a fur collarette at a dance they had attended, and its disappearance was a mystery. The man dreamt twice in succession that the garment was hidden under the corner of an old barn. On informing his sweetheart of the occurrence one evening she suggested that they investigate the merits of the dreams and they at once proceeded to the place indicated. The young man knelt down, reached under the barn, and sure enough his hands closed upon a furry substance and he attempted to drag it forth. His clothes have been buried since and he will not resume his place in society until the odor which clings to him becomes less noticeable.
