GUN IN EACH WINDOW GREETS DRY AGENTS.
Eleven rifles and seven pistols greeted federal dry agents when they visited the home of Allen N. Curtis, near Big Falls, Minn., Tuesday night according to reports received at headquarters here today.
A gun was in every window and door, M. L. Harney, dry chief said. There was no shooting, however.
A fleet-footed agent outwitted Mrs. Curtis, it is said, when she attempted to roll the still down a 30-foot bluff into the Big Fork river. Under its own momentum the still gained headway but the sprinter nabbed it just at the river bank. -- Minneapolis Daily News.
