The Day of Reckoning.
A notable film production is "The End of the World" and is coming to this city in a few days. It is the first picture of its kind ever made and will be shown at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29th and 30th, 1917.
The human story of the subject is deftly woven with a series of remarkable spectacular episodes, showing just what will happen with The End of the World. The great catastrophe bursts in all its fury of world-wide devastation, a rain of fire falls on every side, meteors, aerolites, bursting volcanoes pour down dense clouds of gas and smoke, tidal waves of ocean envelop the earth and on every hand panic-stricken humanity in thousands flee in haste in all directions in a mad rush for safety from the terrifying disaster.
