A Possible Clue to the Mystery.
The tell tale traces of blood discovered on the grounds of St. Michall's church in the Sixth ward Monday morning, remain as deep a mystery as ever. Among the articles scattered about were some bill heads bearing the name of Charles Prohl, dealer in lime, etc., Minneapolis. Yesterday Mr. Prohl came down from that city and reported that up to a few days ago there had stopped with him a lad named Joseph Conter, whose father resides at Shakopee. Young Conter disappeared a few days ago, since when no trace of his whereabouts has been learned. Meantime the police are busy trying to clear up the queer surroundings of this case.
