Only a Practical Joke.

Burglars entered the rooms of Philip Chabot, a saloonkeeper of 327 Main street northeast, Saturday night. Philip and his spouse were sleeping, and the burglars wandered through the rooms without being disturbed. They managed to carry off a lot of valuable clothing and articles, and then returned, no doubt to carry off the sleeping Chabot and helpmate. Instead, however, they decided to perpetrate a practical joke, and, it is said, they tied the night robes of the sleeping pair together and left them to dream away till morning.
