MORE STOLEN CLOTHING.

Citizens of West St. Paul Will Sleep Easier.

Ed Smith was sent to the county jail yesterday to await the action of the grand jury, the charge against him being burglary. Smith was arrested a few days ago, with Lena Krouse, on suspicion of being the man who had been annoying the people of the West side for some time. Articles stolen from various houses were found in his possession, and while in court he wore some clothing which was identified by the persons from whose houses it was taken. Smith's bail was fixed at $2,000. There was no evidence against the woman, although it is believed by the police that she was the medium through which Smith disposed of stolen goods.
