CLOTHING WANTED

By the Relief Society for Poor People.

Secretary Hutchinson, of the Relief society, requests the Globe to ask the public to send in children's clothing and shoes, as there are quite a large number of poor applying for such at the present time, in order that they may put their children in school. There is also a call made for infants' clothing, which is wanted as soon as possible. The special reason given for asking for children's clothing and shoes, is that the society proposes to compel the children who are now on the streets begging, to go to school, and if it finds the parents are unable to provide them with clothing and shoes, the society will furnish these things.
