Great Reduction.

The firm of Charles and Achille Michaud, under the firm name of Michaud Bros., corner of Seventh and Wabasha, are determined to retain their enviable position as the leading grocers in this wide awake city. They will keep ahead of the procession if it kills the horses. This is the original and only Michaud Bros. grocery at the above mentioned location, all reports to the contrary notwithstanding. They are firm believers in the old adage, "Crowd your business or your business will crowd you." They are "pushing things." Everything and everybody about the premises is "on the jump." They have increased their stock and help, and for the next four weeks the prices on flour, sugars, teas, coffees, lard and butter of all grades, will be dropped low enough to astonish buyers, to take the wind out of the sails of some dealers who need a great deal of wind, and to make all the old grannies of both sexes, who are selling groceries, open their eyes till they can see on both sides of their spectacles. The great army of old friends and the eager battalions of new recruits, will learn these prices by calling at the only original Michaud Bros. grocery, corner of Wabashaw and Seventh streets. |
