A Mora Law Suit.

A law suit between Mora parties, McQuaig and Golden, being the result of an election row there, in which the latter wears a discolored optic, was tried here last Tuesday before Justice Dewey, the charge preferred being assault and battery in the third degree. The case was postponed from the preceding day, and the parties and their witnesses were obliged to reappear on Tuesday. Golden decided to plead guilty to the charge, after which Justice Dewey imposed a fine of $15 and costs, amounting to something like $28.00 in all. We learn that Golden has now brought a another somewhat similar charge against McQuaig, the date of the hearing being set for Tuesday next, before Justice Dewey. This suit appears to be a sort of "horse apiece" affair, and the culmination of which will likely prove pretty expensive to both of the participants in the pugilistic rumpus.
