PLAN FOR BABY WELFARE. Summer Work Among Poor Infants Will Be Mapped Out at Association Meeting. The Baby Welfare association will hold its annual meeting May 7, and will at that time make plans for its summer work for the relief and prevention of sickness and death among babies in this city. Beginning May 1 the association will have two clinics each week at its headquarters, 318 Spruce street, and, after June 1, three clinics a week. Hospital beds will be provided for sick babies, and free or cheap ice and ice boxes for milk will be again given to poor mothers. The force of visiting nurses will be reorganized early in May. |
