DIES BESIDE THE COFFIN OF HUSBAND

Aged Wife Expires While Bidding Farwell to Her Dead.

After thirty-five years of married life, Sarah Flaherty bore the parting with her beloved husband so hardly that she died while bidding farewell to his remains yesterday morning in the home they had occupied at 99 Valley street.

Thomas Flaherty died Thursday. Mrs. Flaherty has not been well for some time, but she insisted on getting about while the preparations for the funeral were going on.

Just before the casket was closed yesterday morning Mrs. Flaherty leaned over it weeping. Almost without warning, save for a heart-broken cry, she fell and was dead before assistance could be obtained.

She will be laid beside the partner of her joys and sorrows in Calvary cemetery tomorrow morning.

The old couple leave a number of sons and daughters.
