THE OLD THING SOLD.

The sale of the old Tribune building has finally been consummated. The last one of the 135 stockholders of the building has agreed to the sale, and the deed will be signed next week. The purchaser is a Massachusetts capitalist, and the price paid is $180,000. The purchaser will put from $100,000 to $125,000 more into the building, make it fire-proof and eight stories high, and fit it up for an office building.
