Too late for last week. A. A. Hagen called on some of his best friends Monday. A. T. Ellingboe and A. A. Breckey took a trip to Sacred Heart last Saturday. Ole C. Soine left here for North Dakota to dispose of a farm he has near Minot. He expects to be gone about six weeks. Mrs. G. Gjevre visited with her daughter, Mrs. A. T. Ellingboe, Sunday and Monday. Snow came down in good shape Sunday. It is twenty years since we had so heavy a snow fall so early in the year. From Another Correspondent. Tom Oie finished threshing Saturday. Martin Weflen made a trip to Maynard last week. Olaus Dalager has rented A. Hagen's farm for next year. Mrs. Andrew Jorgenson returned from Minneapolis last week. Miss Emma Johnson visited at Lena Braum's school Monday. T. C. Lerohl made a business trip to Sacred Heart last Friday. Ole Gjevre has ditched and tiled his big slough which cost him over $300. Theodore Tanberg and Gilbert Weflen intend going to Washington this winter. Mr. Tollefson has bought C. Hatlands corn shredder and is working right along. Mrs. Pete Larson of Sacred Heart visited with her parents in this town last week. Hans Gunderson must be a good man to work for he gets the same corn husker every year. Bernt Strand returned from the northern part of the state last Wednesday where he has been tending a threshing outfit. |
