A CLEW TO HALL The Missing Traveler Seen May 3 at Dickinson, S. D. HE WAS THEN EN ROUTE WEST And Refused to Recognize a Fellow Traveler Who Knew Him Well. The Journal received a communication from Casselton, N. D., yesterday stating that A. J. Hall, the missing salesman in the employ of J. C. Johnson & Co., of this city, was seen on May 3 at Dickinson, N. D., and that he was making his way west toward Montana or the coast. The communication was from H. J. Lieberman, traveling salesman for the Wolson Spice Company. Mr. Lieberman states that for some reason best known to himself, Hall would not recognize him, although he knew him well. Hall's employers have been notified of the incident. Friends of Hall's family are very outspoken in their feeling about the manner in which he has left his family and they can find no reason for his action. It is stated that the home life of the Halls was always happy and that the missing man was always, as far as appearances went, a loving husband and indulgent father. |
