His "Hoss" Wanted a Drink Gasoline Was Demanded by W. E. Berham's Bucking Auto. Nineteen out of the twenty minutes allowed owners who stand their automobiles within the restricted district outlined by the traffic ordinance elapsed before W. E. Berham was able to start his machine at Nicollet avenue and Fifth street. It had stalled for want of gasoline and Mr. Berham spent nearly the entire time ascertaining the reason for his trouble. Finally learning that it was shy of sufficient explosive fluid he turned its nose down street with the aid of bystanders and with a push started it going down the grade. The policeman who held the stop watch had not quite counted him out when the belated driver went merrily on his way to a downtown garage. |
