WITHOUT A JUSTICE OR A JAIL Robbinsdale Looks to Minneapolis for These Necessities. The pretty town of Robbinsdale, Minn., is in a peculiar position. It is without a jail or a justice of the peace, but has a great desire for beer on the part of a large portion of the population. The result was that a delegation from that town visited County Attorney Smith for the purpose of seeing what could be done toward administering some law. The county attorney showed that Robbinsdale could be run by proxy and the delegation was informed that the municipal court of Minneapolis would take care of the legal work and the Hennepin county jail would house such prisoners as were taken, if the constable would do his part. So the county attorney is now dealing Robbinsdale justice. |
