Barnes, Accused of Misappropriating Funds, in Court.

From the position of former president of the Title Insurance and Trust company to a prisoner's chair was the downward course completed by J. U. Barnes yesterday when he appeared before Judge Andrew Holt to answer to the charge of having appropriated $10,000. He is being defended by Former Judge A. M. Harrison. The work of securing a jury began yesterday and it is expected will be completed before noon to-day.
